Your New 2024+Tacoma Has a Hidden Rust Trap (How to Fix It)

If you’re looking for the A/C drain on a 2024+ 4th Gen Toyota Tacoma hybrid, it is not in the familiar 3rd-gen location. On my 2025 Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter i-FORCE MAX, the condensate drain exits farther rearward under the passenger side, around the front passenger-seat area.
In this video I show exactly where the 4th-gen Tacoma A/C drain is on my Trailhunter, why the redesigned outlet may be fine on a stock Tacoma, and what changes when a rock slider sits directly in the condensate path. On my Trailhunter, the water lands on the factory passenger-side rock slider and I found a small surface-rust area in that same wet zone. I relocated the drain using the A/C Drip Relocation Kit from TacomaStore.com. The unboxing and complete installation are included, but I show the finished result and the real problem first.
IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE: This installation is physically verified on my 2025 Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter hybrid. Cali Raised’s current published installation resource for this kit is still labeled for 2016–2023 Tacoma, so I am not claiming every 2024+ Tacoma configuration is identical. Compare your factory drain outlet and routing before installation.
