This Tacoma Runs on Hydrogen and It's Absolutely Insane

🚙 Toyota Tacoma H2-Overlander Concept — Hydrogen Power Meets the Trail
Toyota just dropped one of the wildest builds at SEMA 2025: the Tacoma H2-Overlander Concept — a 547-horsepower hydrogen fuel-cell Tacoma that can charge other EVs, power your campsite, and even filter its own water.
Developed by TRD’s engineering teams in California and North Carolina, this zero-emission overlander combines Mirai’s hydrogen tech with a full battery-electric drivetrain, TRD billet long-travel suspension, Fox Performance shocks, and a patent-pending water recovery system that turns exhaust water into usable camping supply.
In this video, we cover:
✅ Full breakdown of Toyota’s hydrogen-electric powertrain
✅ The 15-kW power takeoff that can charge two EVs
✅ TRD’s long-travel setup and off-road design
✅ And why this could be Toyota’s most important concept yet
